Video: Evening Serenade

Here's a view into the evening serenade we got last night. You're watching (listening) to the baby monitor that sits in the kitchen, and listens-in to Gabe's room. As you can hear, he laid in his bed and sang for a while.
The first 30 seconds is mostly the "Happy Birthday" song, and then it switches to the "Lollipop" song at about 45 seconds into the video.

Gabe hugs the bear he made at "Build A Bear" today. His bear's name is "Blue."

Some Verbal Highlights

A few new things we heard this week from Gabe, as his verbal skills quickly grow:
- "Why?" (first time we've heard this one)
- "That's awesome, daddy."
- "Go Whiskey! Go or you'll sit in Time-out!"
- "I love you Dara," and "I love you Whiskey"

Basement Time

Rainy and cold outside. Thank goodness for the basement! Lots of space to run-around.

Pure Joy

Gabe's reaction after each shot he made in the basketball hoop.

Trying to Put the Dog in "Time-Out"

I'll quote Gabe from this evening, "Go Whiskey! Go or you'll sit in Time-out!" The poor dog was just trying to beg for a few scraps.

Golf or Hockey?

With his golf club in hand, Gabe declares that we are playing hockey. Don't mind the duct tape on the end of the club!
